When most people think of the United States, they probably think of Western riding, such as reining or cow penning. However, hunters, jumpers, and gaited horses are also very popular.
It depends on your area and what breed of horse you are riding.

Western, for Work and Pleasure , usually with American Quarter Horses . Western . Work and Pleasure . Mostly with American Quarter horses , some people prefer Arabians for pleasure riding, as they have a lighter bone structure and can run faster past the quarter-mile.
well, then, they probobly wouldn't be used anymore...horse owners would most likely just use them for pleasure riding...or riding just for fun

I would guess that it is actually a Poulan. They are marketed under their name and I believe most or all Sears Craftsman riding mowers are actually manufactured by them.
English styles of riding predate western riding. As a result, English riding is practiced all over the world, but western riding is almost exclusive to the US and N. America.
Probably as more and more states mandate them. If i a cthoice between weaing a helrmet or not riding, most of us will keep riding and hoping that the law will someday be repealed.
