Most any 5 lug Ford rim, including older rims will fit. Meaning I removed the factory aluminum 14" wheels from my 93 2WD, placed them on my 59 Ford Galaxie 'car looks nice now', then I installed centerline 15" wheels on my 93 2WD that came off a 65 mustang. Further more, you want FAT Tires that look proper on it? I installed 275/50x15 tires on the ranger it. and it not looks great, but the speedo still reads properly 'dead on', as some fat tires I have seen on other rangers look like crap due to wrong size which also throws off the spedo reading +/-5 MPH
No. It's rear wheel drive vs. front wheel drive. Engines will not match.
They should. As far as I know, they have the same number of lugs.
f150 can a4 wheel drive wheel fit on a 2 wheel drive f150 both 6 bolt pattern
No, the 1.8 is a Front wheel drive engine and will not in any way fit into a Ranger.
yes, a friend of mine put a 4.0 in an 83 ranger 4x4. make sure you have ecu and harness if the 4.0 is fuel injected.
no the Taurus is front wheel drive and the ranger rear wheel drive therefor the motor mounting and transmission set up are compltley different
Most will but in certain cases it will not. Ford increased the center hole size on the rim to 2 3/4 in 1998 and above on 2 wheel drive rangers. 97 on back had 2 1/2 center holes. The bolt patterns remained the same on all Rangers and Explorers so the lug bolt pattern will fit properly regardless of year. If the rims have a 2 3/4 center hole they will fit any ranger or Explorer hub regardless of year.
I have a 1992 Ford Ranger 2WD. I was told that with a two-inch body lift you could barely fit 33's on mine. So Im guessing you might could fit 29's. You also have to keep in my mind that some times will grind on the tire wall.
no. spline count is different
yes.. but only if you have the wheel hub bored to fit the jeep hub as the rangers hub is smaller
Since the Escort platform is FWD (front wheel drive) anf the Ranger platform is RWD (rear wheel drive) there is no similarity in the transmissions. In other words, no... actually the above answer is not entirely corect. some models of escorts rangers and other vehicles share similar parts and bolt patterns. it mostly depends on engine size, yearand part.
