That's how you hear the music.
The role of a violin in a string quartet is the mostly the leader/harmony of the group.
In an interview by Regina Weinreich with actress Melanie Laurent (playing violinist Anne-Marie Jacquet in the movie) and published on the Huffington post July 29, 2010, Melanie answers the question ....RW: You play the violin so beautifully in this film. As far as I know, you are not a violinist. How did this role come to you?ML: The director chose me. I met him three times to speak about the script. He chose someone else who could not play the violin. The role was a big challenge involving much training. She dropped out. My performance is fake except for the right hand. The left hand is a special effect. It's a lot of work to learn fake movements.
It is a viola. It looks and is played like a violin. However, it is larger, and it has the same strings as the cello. C, G, D, and A. C is the lowest and it is a string a violin does not have, and A is the highest. It has lower pitches than the violin, but it is generally higher than a cello. It can be played low like a cello and high like a violin. I play this instrument, and it is smoother than a violin. It is a big part of an orchestra often plays a leading role in music of the romantic era. Did you know that the bass is not in the same family as the cello, viola, and violin? Also, the first violin part is not the only part, nor does it outweigh the rest. The bass leads the orchestra often when it comes to rythm, but the viola and second violin are normally the base that ties the parts together. It is good to know of all of the instruments because each is equally important, but each are not equally appreciated. I've been trying to find the violin part to the stinken song and i can't find it please give my a clue on were to find it online.
Violin 1 and 2 are roughly equal sized sections of the orchestra, each made up of (usually) 12-16 violinists. The concertmaster (lead violinist) sits at the front of the first violins). The 1st violin section usually carries the melody, whereas the 2nd violins usually accompany. This is however not always the case. Sometimes the 2nd violins play the 1st violin part but one octave below. The relationship between the two sections varies from composer to composer. For example in Johann Strauss, the 2nd violins usually provide the waltz rhythm, and the 1st violins carry the melody. However in Elgar (for example), they are often on equal terms and a lot of role reversal occurs where the 2nds have the tune and 1sts accompany. A good concluding remark would be that there is no less a difference between the two sections than there is between strings and woodwind for example, except that they employ the same instrument.
Just find any orchestral recording and listen to it yourself! Don't ask without thinking!!The violin is usually for melody and is meant for high pitch and mood determination. It usually has one of the major parts in the music.the first violin plays the highest part, and the second violin usually plays the same or around the same as a viola. Melody and Harmony usually switch off.it varies according to what song you are playing. like, orignally, the violin had the melody, but that's called being 1st violin (not to be confused with 1st chair violin), then usally the 2nd violin has the harmony of the 1st violins. But, in some cases the violas might have the melody..... so yeah hope it helped a bit! :DMainly, the violin has the melody or counter-melody. The first violins (not 1st chair) are usually with the melody and the second violins have some sort of counter-melody. But there are certain songs in which case the violins, in general, are put to the accompaning role, while another section of the orchestra (i.e. violas, celloes and basses) have the melody

Waves play a major role in building up and breaking down the shoreline. As waves break against a shoreline, rock is broken into sand.
Interference will alter the pattern and rate of production of bow or shock waves. Bow waves are formed such as when a circular object plops in water. Shock waves are more linear in creation.
