Psychological problems can be approcahed using descriptive, correlational, true experimental or quasi-experimental research methods.

The concept of a clinical method is included in the concept of clinical psychology which is the art and technology of dealing with the adjustment problems of the individual for purposes of his optimum social adjustment and welfare.
