Only the battleship USS Nevada was able to get "under way." She just about made it, but had taken so many hits that she began to sink. Her commander grounded her so she wouldn't block the harbor entrance, when she did sink. As an ironic twist of fate; after the war, two of the battleships that ultimately survived (refloated and/or repaired) the Pearl Harbor attack, the USS Nevada and the USS Pennsylvania were sunk in the Pacific Ocean as targets.
they sunk are ships and we attacked them
There were no submarines sunk or damaged during the attack on Pearl Harbor; all vessels either sunk or damaged were capital ships (battleships, cruisers, etc.) or support vessels (tenders, tugs, etc.).

The Japanese needed to carry out a pre-emptive strike on the Western region using bombers. The attack needed to have all the ships docked at Pearl Harbor for the attack to be devastating enough.
There was 90 ships docked in Pearl Harbor. Three ships sank, while four more took damage.
Three U.S. ships that never sailed after the attack on Pearl Harbor include the USS Arizona, USS Oklahoma, and USS Utah. These ships were heavily damaged or sunk during the attack and were never repaired or put back into active service. They ultimately became memorials to the lives lost during the attack.
Most of them were stationed AT Pearl Harbor, but there were three aircraft carriers out of the base patrolling the waters, which in the future helped the United States win the war!
Specify the attack.
IJN & USN subs went looking for ships to sink.
Kamikazes, or "divine winds", used a suicide-airplane attack to destroy Allied ships and trenches. The famous kamikazes were implented during the attack of Pearl Harbor,
