See if you are getting power and Ground to lighter socket. If so replace element and/or socket. If no power further investigate circuit to find where power is fed to same.
Yes just go to the fuse panel and find a 12 volt source that is turned on with the key and tie into that or check your fuses to the ciggarette lighter
There are two fuses for both cigarette lighters on my Mazda 6, 2004. The 15A fuses are located in the fuse box, located under the steering wheel on the left side, just above the driver's floor mat. The fuse slot for the front lighter is #10, and #14 is for the rear accessory lighter.
Had this problem - simple doesnt have a fuse buy new cigarette lighter.
No, a Mazda 626 does not have fuses for ABS brakes. In fact, many Mazda models do not have fuses for ABS brakes.
there are fuses in the main fuse panel but with the lighter there is a good chance that the fusible link on the back of the lighter itself was the first to go. If this is the case then the lighter adapter itself needs to be replaced. Check your fuse panel for any fried fuses and if none are blown, time to go to the parts store or dealership to replace the adapter.
The cigarette lighter fuse is shared. Under the hood in the main fusebox, check all 15 amp fuses-it should be one of them that has blown. The cigarette lighter fuse is shared. if you look on the back of the cover of the fuse box it should have a diagram with labels for all the fuses
There should be a schematic in your owners manual or possibly where your fuses are.
check in the glove compartment, there should be a fuse comparment with a fuse diagram inside which details which fuse controls what. the lighter should have three separate fuses.
should be under the steering wheel in all the fuses
it is in the fuses box inside the vehicle i belive it is # 17 and is 25amp
The fuse for the cigarette lighter will be back behind the glove box. Open the glove box on the right side there should be a piece that says fuses pull that piece out and the fuse box is in there a little bit. There will be the big silver fuses should ony be 2 of them then below those will be a row of only 2 mini fuses a red 10 amp and a blue 15 amp the blue is the fuse for the cigarette lighter.
