you need itunes, and sync it on itunes (it says sync ) at the bottom right
Simple, plug into iTunes, restore to factory settings.
Normally this shouldn't happen. What you can do is right-click on your iPhone when it appears in the left side of the iTunes interface, and click restore from backup. iTunes automatically takes backup of your iPhone before synching it, so it should turn out the way it was before you synched. But like I said, it shouldn't delete your apps when you synch with iTunes.
If you want ringtones for an iPhone you should check out iTunes first. Also, Amazon offers a huge selection of songs as ringtones. Your phone itself should help point you in the right direction.
With the iPhone connected to the computer launch iTunes and select the iPhone in the Devices section of the left hand pane. In the right hand pane you can select which music you want to sync with the iPhone. (See links below)
Connect your iPhone to your computer and the iTunes window should pop up by default. If it doesn't, just open in manually. Once iTunes is open, the iPhone should start syncing music, apps etc. automatically. If not, click on your device on the left side in iTunes. Once you are on that page, press the Music, Apps etc. tab above the picture of your iPhone and make sure that the check box marked "Sync Music" or "Sync Apps" etc. is selected. If not, just select it and click on "Apply" on the bottom right of iTunes.
The iPhone can download songs directly from the iTunes WiFi Music Store, or sync songs and other information (contacts, calendars, photos, videos, etc.) from an iTunes library on its host computer.
You plug your iPhone into your computer, and then on the left it will say the name of your iPhone, right click on it and left click transfer purchases, and your done in Itunes.

To remove a tune from your iPhone playlist, simply open iTunes, right-click on the playlist to delete, and click delete.
After installing iTunes, plug in your iPhone and let it complete any patch updates or system backups. Then, find your iPhone under "Devices" in the left-hand explorer bar, right-click it, and select "Transfer Purchases."
