What should a 15 year old do if his dad is trying to make him sell his own computer that he bought because he's on too much?

I'm 55 years old, have 2 boys and 2 girls (only 1 girl, 13, at home now) and have built them all computers.
I have, at times, driven myself half crazy and driven wedges between myself and my kids over the time they spent on their computers compared to the time they spent outside doing stuff (with me).
I missed their company like crazy and felt a bit miffed at being so readily replaced in their lives by a beige box.
This'll bore you but when I was young TV was new and most of our free time was spent outside either playing or getting into mischief. Being inside was boring. Outside doing stuff was normal.
When my four kids were still all at home I figured "if I can't beat them I'll join them".........I built myself a P4 2.8, put all our pc's on a home network and got them to teach me how to play Unreal Tournament and Half Life.
They slaughtered me on Unreal but I won respect by completing Half Life on my own (it was bloody hard!).
The result was that my kids "humored" me by increasing the time they spent doing outside stuff.
I now talk to the three at uni on Messenger more than face to face and the daughter at home has made her school tennis team.
I guess the guts of it is talk to your Dad and be prepared to listen and compromise.
My bet is that he loves you and misses your company.

If you bought the game from steam, no. and if your trying to put a game on your computer and it keeps adding to steam, than un-install steam while your trying to install the game.

Its more possible , but if you have good virus software for your computer then you should be set, because the computer will automatically cancel the virus or hackers to your computer if not send you a warning to let you know that someone is trying to hack into your pc.

Because w/o the receipt you can't prove that you've bought after the expiry date. As far as they're concerned you might as well be trying to trade in something you bought days before and simply forgot about.

There are many things that can go wrong here.For a start, check the IP address - it should be in the same subnet as the other computer, and as the router. Also check the default gateway.
