There are several causes for this. If you swim a lot this will shrink the penis size temporarily (anything cold does.) Stress, emotional problems that have not been resolved can also do this.
I strongly suggest you get a check-up by your doctor. He will check for blood flow, and also give you a blood test for Diabetes. I highly doubt you have diabetes at all, but it wouldn't hurt to get it checked out.
Usually young men of your age, it could be due to shyness, fearful of performance, how your parents brought you up about sex (guilty conscience) you are on steroids, if you are athletically inclined. I think you would feel much better getting a physical check-up by your doctor and it would put your mind at rest.
I would also recommend a blood test for your Testosterone levels. While 30 is very young for the drop to start, It is possible. Failure to achieve an erection or failure to maintain an erection is a text book example of Low Testosterone.
If all tests come back A-OK (I sure hope they do) then I would say it is emotional. Talk things out with a good friend. This helps a lot. Don't forget to see that doc of yours.
