Obviously the person whom he is talking to doesn't care about his problem with guilt. It doesn't make this person an unfeeling person, it just means the person doesn't want to be the "emotional dump." If you need to work out your issue of guilt, the best thing you can do for yourself and this other person is to go to a councelor whose job it is to listen to problems. A councelor or therapist can be a really useful person.
