brine is salt and water usually 100% saturation
salt and water freezes at about zero degrees F (non toxic) but rather hard on steel or iron.
ethylene-glycol and water at 50/50 mix is about -60 f (very toxic) good with metals
propylene glycol and water 50/50 about -40 and a bit toxic good with metal
brine is rather cheap salt $30/ton
if you live near an ocean and have a bucket real cheap
all the others are from big oil and expensive but dont hurt metal
water has the highest specific heat of common materials and as such is the best refrigerant
