your usual everyday stuff, bring your computer, phone, iPod, etc. im not sure if u could bring yur pet, something like a fish, but you should definitively bring a blanket, lots of clothes, some favorite books, although im pretty sure they have bookstores, some pictures and, of course, lots of money, about three thousand dollars.

What you should bring to college depends a great deal on how far from home you will be, your gender, and your major. It also depends on whether you will be in a dorm or an apartment, and whether there is some shopping close to your school.

Most students living in dorms should not plan to bring a car the first year. If you will be commuting home every weekend, you'll probably want the car, but otherwise it is a distraction.

Bring enough clothing to go two weeks without doing the wash. This will be valuable when midterms and finals approach. Make sure you have the basics to suit the weather where you are going.
