well, the best thing to do in your situation is just to ask the girl. i know, i know.. it might be embarrassing!! buuut, it's really the only way to get your answer!! if you have trouble talking to girls, here's a way to approach her.

"i don't mean to be too forward, but you know how everyone is saying you like me.. well i was wondering if it's true. i know this seems embarrassing, but everyone's telling me something different and I'm getting fed up with it, so i just wanted to find out first hand."
if she says she does like you, and you like her back.. go for it!! just be like "well, i like you too!! would you like to go to the movies or something?"
if she says she doesn't then just say "oh, ok. well cool thanks" or something like that.
