It doesn't matter what this argument or fight was about, you should just try to be sensible about it. Perhaps meet up with him, or if you're still living with him at this time, sit down with him and just try to have an adult discussion with him. Tell him that you have children depending on you and that it would be stupid to break up over such a little thing. Discuss things and try to be empathetic- to see things from his point of view. After discussing things, hopefully he'll feel a little better about the situation, maybe you can give him a hug, and then I'm sure you'll make up. Good luck.
