I noticed you categorized this question under Religion & Spirituality, so if you don't mind, I'll address this question from a Christian standpoint and invite anyone else to add their opinions, religious or otherwise. I understand your pain and your fear. You are definitely not alone in your worries! Raising and taking care of a family is hard and sometimes we just need help and guidance. We want to turn to God, but if we've had bad experiences with our earthly fathers, it can often cloud or distort our vision of who our Heavenly Father truly is. Isaiah 40:11 is a good place to learn about God's true love for His children and their children. God loves us and wants to take care of us. He wants us to prosper (see Jeremiah 29:11-12). Finally, in Isaiah 43:18-19 we learn that we should forget the past and look towards a better future. Good luck and God bless you!
