I understand your dilemma and feelings. It is so difficult to wait for an answer. I am going through the same thing right now. I feel you should keep calling. It proves your persistence. You also have a right to know what is going on. If you call, be polite. Tell them that you want to know but also want to learn from your experience. And, if you gain info you can improve your skills for next time. When you call, make sure you ask to speak to the right person. I feel you should feel confident, but also be ready if you are not the successful candidate. Please do not lose hope because in my situation, the hiring "squad" had family and personal emergencies to attend to. Maybe this is in your case and the office people don't want to relay any info. You never know so don't wait, just give them a cell number as the market is tough now. You may never hear from them or they may be hiring for "future" openings-not immediate. employers never tell you so assume you won't get one and keep applying at places until you do.
