I feel if you have a problem like this, you should stand back a little and see how you really feel about the boyfriend and the other guy. Do a self evaluation to figure out what you really want and figure out how to get it. Then go for whatever you feel you really want and if the guy you wanted don't want you anymore, move on. But if the bf you broke up with has moved on, let him, he deserves to be told the truth if you want to be back with him, and also you need to evalutate the situation and decide if you really feel he deserved to be treated this way. The best way to figure that out, is to figure out how you'd feel if he broke up with you for somebody he liked and found out liked him also, and how would you feel if he tried to get you back because the girl he liked didn't like him anymore, so you were now second choice. At this time it is best to just take time for yourself and sort out your feelings as you obviously didn't like your past boyfriend enough to stay with him and the other guy broke you up as he wanted but doesn't want you - you need time to be single and sort out your feelings, its ok to be alone. Don't jump back into some or any relationship - its good to be independent and you may have to learn that.
My advice if you like that person and your boyfriend then yes this is a hard decision trust me I know. Just go for the one you like the most and if he says he don't like you does not mean he don't boys will deny it to the nail that they don't like you when they do they just don't want to tell you because there afraid that you might make fun of them.

Well I would try to get back with your old boyfriend. But you still need to ask yourself, did u break up with your boyfriend because the other guy was cute, or you didn't really like your boyfriend. Hopefully I'm not offending you. Or you could go to the guy who used to like you and ask why he doesn't like you anymore. By the way you might want to apologize to your old bf because I'm sure he would be sad if his gf broke up with him for another guy who doesn't like her. Plus the person who gave u the advice before might be right. He could be lieing. Ask him again when you to are alone.
