If it's the school bus, then you shouldn't worry. You could get it tomorrow. The driver is sure to pick it up. If it's a public bus, then go to the final stop , to or from which ever way you went and talk to the MTA people. Maybe the driver turned it in already.

Alone on a Bus?

If you travel alone or with one other person, bus transportation may be something you should look into. No one travels by bus anymore, so you will likely have plenty of space on the bus to lie down and rest or have a seat to yourself. Stay alert for your stop so you can be sure to get off the bus if there are not many people on with you.

What should you say if a woman walks up to you and yells stop staring at me when you only was looking in the direction the bus is coming from but get insulted instead by her?

It is obvious the woman who yelled at you to stop staring at her when you were not made a mistake or, it's possible she felt unnerved that you happened to be looking in her direction while waiting for your bus. It is best just to ignore the situation and stop looking for your bus until it comes to your stop where you are waiting.

Can a bus driver get you in trouble if you are not on the bus?
