dont wrry, you will be fine. nxt time he bites you, jerk ur hand so it kno not to do tht
Chinese and Russian are very nice. I had Chinese and they were incredible. Never bit got along and live 3 years.
my Friend has one it doesn't bite her, she calms her down by giving her a treat and brushing her but that doesn't work with all of them
They're both almost equall in size but the girl is a tiny bit bigger.
Well it depends... i have noticed that regular sized hamsters are meaner then the dwarf hamsters.... but any hamster will bite if it has babies... but i have two Campbell Russian dwarf hamsters and they are very cute! mine has never bit me!
Well If it bit you its probably checking your personality or thinking its food. The bite shouldn't be taken seriously if it isn't bleeding.
Male Chinese dwarf hamsters can be mixed with others but if they begin to get aggressive with each other, separate them asap! female Chinese dwarf hamsters do not often like each other. it is best not to mix them as they will probebley end up killing each other. DO NOT MIX DIFFERNT BREEDS OF HAMSTERS eg. a syrain hamster with a Russian dwarf hamster. if you have just put the hamsters in one cage, keep an eye on them.
a 50lb club hammer should calm her down!

Yes .... Hamsters are Awesome.... Goldfish are boring you need a little bit of both in your life there to much of the same just make sure that u keep the hamster in a cage not a fish bowl or you"ll drown it (because u seem like you need a lot of help)
A hamsters diet is usually the food you get in packets from pet shops, its a bit like muesli. However, I do not know much about normal hamsters, I know a lot on dwarf hamsters. Dwarf hamsters are tiny so still feed them the normal hamster food but only a small bit of it and once a week give it a bit of veg or fruit only as big as your fingernail though!
Different breeds of hamsters are different sizes, the syrian is the biggest at about the size of a large mouse, and then others are smaller than that. syrians must live alone though becausethey will kill each other otherwise.
Usually, with the more common breeds (syrian, russian dwarf, chinese dwarf, roborovski etc.) it will be about three weeks but might be ready a bit earlier, don't leave it any longer than this though as all breeds of hamster come into season very quickly and if they get the chance to breed young, they will and there could be a lot wrong wth the babies and the mother hamster will probably die or eat her babies, so males and females must be seperated. Hope this helped.
