I was in the military and everytime we used to get a new girl she was either engage or with a boyfriend back home. two weeks later they were broken up. If you feel that you are loosing her tell her good luck with school and have a good life. because if you are feeling these way already you may feel worst once you really lose her for many other reasons. good luck. Every boyfriend or girlfriend whose girlfriend and boyfriend are going away to college feels the same way as you do. The reality is that you will both try to be true for a few months, maybe even the first year, but usually the separation and new environments with new people wins out, and the relationship ends. It happened to me and several of my friends. But, you know what, we are all happy today, and sad changes are a part of life. Good luck in staying true, but don't be surprised if you too have a new relationship in 6 months. You may find someone before she does. if you guys are never going to see each other again and are not going to the same college then its best to just let her go. It hurts to know your losing her and the fact she is vulnerable to other men but if you think on whats best for you and her you'll see that its just best to let go. I'm not sure if you love her but im presuming you do the thing is letting go is hard and it hurts i know but sometimes when you think about it on the bright side that your making the right choice for the both of you guys youll feel better and befor you know it the feeling of hurt and depression will go away as you meet a new girl that is just as special or even better. I'm not saying its easy and to forget her but its best to move on even if you dont want to because deep down you know that you did the right thing. And whats even better is to spend as much time as you can with her before she leaves so you'll have lots of memories to keep with you always. Just make the last times you have with her the funnest and happiest. Who knows maybe youll meet her again...

Charlie Gordon in "Flowers for Algernon" is afraid of losing his peanuts because they symbolize his sense of security and familiarity. Losing his peanuts would disrupt the routine and comfort he finds in his daily life, which can be especially distressing for someone like Charlie who is intellectually disabled and relies on routines for stability.

Jealousy :) shes afraid of losing him to someone with more "superior" looks
That's easy. Sit her down and just talk. Don't be afraid to listen to her problems about you and do be afraid to tell her about your problems. Just tell her to let loose and just talk....

People can collect disability for as long as they are considered disabled. If someone is receiving and afraid of losing benefits they should speak with their local SSI about it.
