Believe me, I know, and it really doesn't. I have a friend (well, not really my friend anymore.) Her name is Jenna, and she curses a lot, but everyone hates her!
She has no friends, and got held back three times. See, she thinks she's cool because she curses, but it does not make you older or younger; it makes you weirder!
Just tell your mom the truth, and apologize. Then really DON'T do it anymore. It becomes a very bad habit.
