If the person that you like is dating your truly best friend, leave it alone. There are many people in the world that are available for a relationship, but a best friend is hard to come by. Mark that person off limits out of respect for your friendship. Maybe they have another friend that you can get to know? People tend to associate with other people who are like them. You might find that the friend is more your type anyway!
