If it is water cooled, check level of coolant. Should have at least -30 f. Next, fill the gas tank, add right amount of fuel stabilizer, I also add say about 1/3 liter of Transmission Fluid to the gas. Run engine, till mix enters carbs's. Remove spark plugs and give a little shot of transmission fluid into the hole. Crank engine with plugs out just a second or so just to line the bore's with the oil. Replace the plugs and that's it. Start up in the spring. Might have to remove the plugs and crank a little before start up. New plugs are in order. Others might say to just treat the fuel with the stabilizer, with full tank of course, and drain the carb's and that's it. I have used the first formula for many years and have never had a problem. Your choice. With the oil in the carb's it prevents drying of seals, and no gummy effect.
