I'm not a mechanic / technician but if all ( 3 ) brake lights don't work
( assuming you have a 3rd higher mount brake light and all the bulbs and
fuses are fine ) then it would be a problem with your brake light switch
( and also I BELIEVE if all the outside brake lights stay on )
It's on the arm of the brake pedal.
Normally this is an indication of a defective brake light switch.
Antilock brake system
Check the bulbs, the fuse then the brake light switch.
3. 2 for the main lites, and 1 in the center
Start with the light sensor on the brake pedal arm.
Check fuse for brake switch, check switch, or light control module,
Switch should be located at the upper end of parking brake pedal under dash area Light is common with low brake fluid light
Yes, they are identical
If your brake light is on that inducates that your brake fluid level in the brake master cylinder in your engine compartment is LOW ( assuming that your emergency brake isn't on ) Having a low brake fluid level will also turn on your ABS light
I am presuming that you mean the parking Brake light It may be a loose wire or your parking brake (pedal and arm)needs to be tightened. You may also have to tighten the switch
Could be low on brake fluid. If it is low you either needs brakes or you have a leak in the system.
