I'm not really sure about the right answer but...
In page 115 of 8th grade history textbook:
Under British rule, only free, white men that owned land could vote. Many states' constitutions expanded suffrage, or the right to vote, by allowing any white man who paid taxes to vote. In every state, however, only landowners could hold public office. Some states originally allowed women and free African Americans to vote, but these rights were soon taken away. Suffrage would not restored to these groups for decades to come.
(and on the bottom of that page they said)
New Jersey allowed women to vote when it first joined the United States. This right was taken away by 1807.
Hope the information will help you a little bit. Good luck.

they are both the same no difference there same but they gave it two names (american revolution and glorious revolution) who ever wrote this is wrong the american revolution was because we wanted to be independent from england. where as the glorious revolution was a flip-flop in government where they got rid of an absolute monarchy and got a better government in england
Both blamed foreigners for the erosion of traditional cultures
used violent methods to eliminate their opponents
Both King Philip's War and Pontiac's Rebellion were conflicts between Native American groups and European colonizers in North America. Both wars were sparked by tensions over land and resources, leading to widespread violence and loss of life on both sides.
The American Revolution was fought between 1775-1783
Technically, all revolutions are rebellions or uprisings. The only difference between a revolution and a rebellion is that a revolution changes the government, where as a rebellion is a broader concept.
The American revolution is in America & the Haitian Revolution is in Haiti
The main similarity between the French and American revolutions were that in both cases a king had been the main power that was over thrown as rulers. The comparison was not totally accurate however. In the case of the American revolution, the British monarch remained in power of Britain's global empire. In the case of the revolution in France in 1789, the French king, Louis XVI was deposed and eventually executed by the leaders of the revolution.
