Foods that tend to be high in fat are sugary foods (cakes, pastries, sweets, candies, ice cream, ect.). Peanut butter and nuts are high in fat, but it is "healthy" fat, if you can call it that, as it is natural and your body needs it. Anything with a 20% or higher fat content is high in fat (i.e anything with 20g or more total fat per 100g. Nutritional content per 100g is usually listed on the back of the packet.) High fat foods include butter, margarine, cream, pastry (except filo), most store bought sandwiches, cakes, pastries, pasties, sausage rolls, chips, crisps, cheese, fois gras, pate, nuts, seeds, chicken nuggets and fried foods.
