The question should be, can the two 15 inch sub-woofers handle 900 Watts? The speakers should have a power rating marked on them. If the speakers can handle 900 Watts, and they are suitably impedance matched with the amplifier, there should not be a problem.
you would need multiple amplifiers if you were using 1000 wats of subs. two amps one on each sub should work decently.
When connecting a dual voice coil sub in series you should use the powered subs.
What's a subs? If you are consuming 3200 watts your amps at 120 volts will be 26.6, at 240 volts it will be 13.3. However I suspect I am missing some information.
functional checks
Left Front, Center, Right Front, Right Rear, Left Rear, Center Rear on some units and the Sub- woofer. Most sub-woofers have their own built in amplifier and should be connected to the Sub Output connector on the Home Theater unit.
This type of connection should have no effect since both components would be looking for a signal and neither of them would be receiving one. Connecting headphones to the output of the amplifier on the other hand...
If the amplifier is designed for an 8 ohm load, then you should use an 8 ohm load. Three 8 ohm speaker in series is 24 ohms, and in parallel they are 2.67 ohms. Neither of those is a good match for an 8 ohm rated amplifier. If you do this, you will not achieve rated power, and you may well damage the amplifier.
You can install your own amplifier and you will save allot of money. To install an amplifier yourself you should get a How to Guide on how to install an amplifier.
That depends on the quality (price) of the meter. Ideally it should have no effect.
Neuhaus T-2 Amplifier is not so good.
They should be in parallel so that both speakers will (a) get the full damping effect of the low amplifier output resistance, and (b) receive the maximum available voltage swing from the amplifier before limiting and distortion occur. If they sound the same in series, that cancels the effect of 40 years of 'techno' articles on speakers in glossy audio magazines :).
