you mean the type that sort of screw in half a turn? I noticed my autometer gauges came with the same thing for their bulb holders which means you can still obtain them. I believe ther were the same size. ( I broke the tab off of one of mine for the parking brake light on my 71 dart
Typical bulb holders are made of brass coated with ceramic.
You need to raise the liftgate, then remove the liftgate upper trim panel. Remove the panel by carefully pulling straight out, it's only held in by spring clips. You'll now be able to access the bulb holders. Remove the bulb holders by rotating them 1/4 turn clockwise. The bulbs pull straight out from the holders. Put everything back together in reverse.
The turn signal bulb? It's done from inside the trunk. Pull the carpet away from the backside of the taillight assembly. The bulb holders just twist out. Replace the bulb, re-seat the bulb holder and put the carpeting back.
You do this from inside the trunk. Pull the carpet away from the back of the tail light housing. You should see the rear of the bulb holders. Unscrew the one with the dead bulb and pull it straight out. Replace the burned out bulb. Screw the bulb holder back into the housing. Re-seat the carpet. You're done!
Take off the plastic holders for the net at the back of the trunk. This will allow the plastic trim to move away from back of trunk then with a wrench or socket remove nuts that are on the threaded bolts that the plastic net holders were on. This will allow the whole assembly to be removed from the back (exterior) of the car. Now just remove connector half turn bulb remove old bulb replace new bulg and reverse to assemble.
there are two tourqu screws one on each side undo thes and slide out light then release the clip on the bulb from the back side and slide out the bulb
remove tail light, remove burnt bulb, replace burnt bulb, test if it works, then put tail light back on....
Just the bulb on the new ones? pop the hood and find the back of the bulb you need to change. they can be kinda tough to turn, but a 1/4 turn will unlock the bulb and it can then be pulled out. then simly unplug the old bulb and replace it.
Pull the switch and change bulb in rear. 1 for night light and 2nd for fog light indicator.
