yes
remove compressor put a bypass pulley in its place replace belt
Yes , but you must remove the compressor and install the bypass pulley. The belt designed for non ac trucks will not work on trucks with a.c. The belt tensioner pulley goes the wrong way
yes you can bypass ac with either a ac bypass pulley made by dorman or get a longer belt
if you can reroute the belt to bypass the ac compressor all you need to work out is how much shorter the belt is that you would require
To bypass your ac you can use a Valuecraft brand belt part # 360k4
The serpentine should route the same as with the AC except fro the AC compressor. The belt will go straight past the compressor, so you will need a shorter belt to make the bypass work.
found this bypass pulley: http://www.1aauto.com/1A/ACBypassPulley/Dodge/GrandCaravan/1AEPM00050/1089407
The only thing you can do is taking a spring and run it across the belt pulleys bypassing the air compressor. Then go to the parts store and have the sale person measure string and compare with the new belt.
If there is a bypass pulley you'd have to go to a dealer to get it. You can remove ac compressor and get a short belt bypass it that way. Same belt routing minus the ac. I just did my 2004 Ford Taurus used a 8206k belt. was a lil hard to get on or maybe I'm a wimp.AnswerGo to www.dormanproducts.com and look up an A/C bypass pulley for your vehicle. Then go to www.rockauto.com to buy it.
can u reroute serp. belt to bypass a\c compressor
No, Have a look at the way the belt is. You cant just get a shorter belt and bypass the AC compressor as the belt would foul on the tensioner. u need a AC bypass pulley and bracket, and so far, i can only find these genuine
