This will depend on what type of bit is being used and the actual size of the pony's' mouth. Most bits need to have 1/4 inch of clearance on each side of the mouth so remember to add that to the over all length. To measure for a bit, take a piece of string and tie a knot in one end and slide it into the pony's mouth, holding it 1/4 inch away from the corner of the lips on each side. Hold onto the string on the unknotted side as you slide it out of the mouth and measure your length of string, this will give you a general size of bit to look for.
If I were you I would buy a bit for the pony and if it didn't fit then ask for a refund and try again. And find a cob size.
A 4" bit will probably fit this size of a pony unless his mouth is unusually large or small.
Nope, no horse needs to be stabled afterall they do originate from the wild. The only reason they may need to be stabled is if they have an injury.
I personally do not need the Welsh language, but I would imagine that native Welsh speakers feel differently... Mwynhewch y cyngor!

I guess you would need basic items if you have a horse. A feed bag, curry brush, etc. are good horse items for horse people.

The horse would not get all of the nutrients that they need to survive. They would probably colic. It would not be healthy for them, and they would die.
Being able to speak welsh would help, then there would be no problems with finding places ect, as you would be able to ask! Not necessarily because all signs are in English and Welsh and also most of the population speak English

After checking the website I could not find any information on whether or not you are required to bring your own horse for lessons or not. I would suspect however that you would need your own horse or at least a lease horse for her lessons.
