What size do you need to buy a jockstrap in I do you need to buy it a size bigger then what you are or not It feels tight and am not sure if it is supposed to feel like tight around the penis?

Well you need to buy one that feels comfotable, but isn't loose around it, so it should be alittle tight. Answer: Jockstraps are sized by the waistband. So you need to know your waist measurement, and then look at the boxes to see which size waist the different sizes fit (small, medium, large, etc). It varies from brand to brand. You might wear a medium Brand X jockstrap, but a small Brand Y jockstrap depending on how their sizes run. But they will say right on their packages. The only other difference is that there are boy's sizes and men's sizes. And there are even some brands that even teen sizes in between those two. The major difference between these categories is the size of the pouch (and cup if it's a cup jockstrap). Men's jocks have bigger pouches/cups than boy's, and they have the teen size they are in the middle. They will probably fit different ranges on the waist sizes too. In other words a men's medium will have a different range of waist sizes than a boy's medium. But there is no difference in pouch or cup sizes within the categories. Exactly the same pouch/cup is used on a men's small as on a men's extra large (or whatever the biggest size is). So first you just need to decide if you need a boy, teen, or man size pouch/cup. Then just look at the packages they come in to see which size your waist measurement falls within.

So you probably shouldn't buy a size any larger than your waist. The pouch needs to be tight to hold a cup in place, or to support your penis and testicles.
