I have an 1986 Jeep Comanche with the long bed. I just replaced the gas tank and it is 23.5 gallons. Bought it from J.C. Whitney and it was a OE replacement. I understand the short beds (not available in 86) have an 18 gallon tank.

It is very simple once you remove the gas tank from the vehicle. The hard part is getting the gas tank out of the vehicle.
The 1989 Ford Bronco II 2WD typically comes with a gas tank that has a capacity of 15.0 gallons. This size allows for decent range and fuel efficiency for the vehicle. Always refer to the owner’s manual or check with a dealer for the most accurate information specific to your model.
