I had a 1995 buick lesabre and the A/C compressor went out in the winter time. I waited until spring to replace the compressor. In the mean time, I used a Dayco 72.10 inch belt and bypassed the A/C compressor and it runs fine.
I would call a dealer's service center first. If it's only the size of the belt you need, there may be one that will fit. Pleas do not re-direct people to where they can find information or the wiki police will scorn you. But the belt will not work. Dorman makes a pulley and bracket to replace compressor. You might just replace compressor with a used one too.
You can bypass your 1988 Buick Skylark heater core by removing the heater core water supply hoses. There will be to water hoses. Connect the water hoses to each other.
The easiest way to bypass the antitheft module in your 1997 Buick Skylark is to remove the fuse. The location of the antitheft module fuse is listed on the inside cover of the fuse box.
Should be on the larger hose from the compressor
Maybe $100 tops....
the diagram is in the left corner closest to the passenger seat
will the fenders from a 1971 Buick Skylark Custom fit a 1972 Buick Skylark?
Buick Skylark was created in 1953.
Remove belt and tensioner should just be bolted to engine
You don't say which engine or year but see my post under "How do you change a serpentine belt on a 93 Buick Skylark" for a possible answer.
Go to a GM dealer's parts department or service department. They would know.
