I got a 36mm deep socket at pepboys. I know my truck isn't metric but that did the job for me just fine.
Remove the calipers, then the caliper frame, rotor is now free.
It mainly depends on the year it was made. I personally have a 1994 f150 and I had to take the hub out, which consists of a few Alan head screws then you remove the hub asseembly and then it requires a specialty socket to take out 2 more bolts in the hub. Then you take off 5 or 6 bolts that holds the rotor on itself.
to remove the front rotors u must first remove the caliper and caliper frame then remove the nut in the center of rotor rotor should fall off then hope this helps fordtech
Rotors
The min thickness should be stamped on the backside of the rotor, pull and examine.
