Chevy Cobalt Ls and Lt
16" x 6", 4 Lug, 100mm Bolt Pattern
Where the fuel line connects to the carburetor you will see a large bolt. Unscrew that bolt and the filter will be located behind it.
3/8" if 9/16 socket heads.
An oil filter bolt is an imaginary item. The oil filter is under the fan shroud. A flap opens that reveals the oil filter. The drain plug is just behind the steering cross member.
Get a socket and ratchet and rotate the tensioner bolt counter-clockwise
There is a big bolt that is inside of the bottom pulley on the front of the engine, It is the bolt that holds the balancer on . Get a socket that fits that bolt and then turn the engine with that and that will rotate the fly-wheel.
It will be a metric socket. Just try different sizes until you find the right one.
8mm is the socket size. Try and find a 6 point socket if you can, instead of a 12 point. Those little boogers round off very easily. I'm surprised GM didn't engineer a larger, stronger bolt for that application.
if u know were the spark plugs are located use a socket wrench with long socket so you could fit the socket into the hole and do the exact same things as you would do trying to get a bolt free
Use an air impact wrench with a six point socket
Coh (like in .co.uk. Co) Bolt (like a lightning BOLT)Cobalt. That's how I pronounce it, anyway. I'm English it may be different in America.
