I believe that is a 12mm for the bolts and 5/16 for the wiring.
That refers to the size wrench necessary to tighten or loosen the bolt.
The bolts on the starter take a 5/8 inch wrench. The battery cable is a 13mm wrench.
21mm make sure to use a torque wrench and tighten to 93lbs
If you are asking what wrench to use to tighten or remove the terminal they are 5/16ths.
7/16 in fine thread, use a 5/8 wrench.
Remove negative battery cable. For easier excess to starter, take front passenger tire off, starter is next to oil filter, you can see it good when tire is removed, remove ignition wire connected to starter, its a male to female connection,so it just pulls off,get a 12 or 14 mm wrench and disconnect positive battery cable from starter, then get wrench or wrenches,it may have 2 different size bolts holding starter on,just remember to put same 2 bolts back in same holes, not to sure what size wrench is used.install it the same as taking out.auto zone has starters for 55.00
the tire size for on a 97 mustang is17
A "crescent wrench" is my second choice if a fixed size wrench is not available.
A 35mm wrench....
Depends on size of wrench.
i dont know exact size wrench but if you are having trouble making wrench fit, u need to use metric wrench
A 10mm wrench, or if you don't have metric wrenches, a 13/32 wrench.
