any kind of citrus fruit etc lemon, orange, lime. The oil that is released when peeling or cutting these fruits is very strong and a bit like smelling a strong vinegar to us. This only affects the cat when you re quite close the animal.
Also lots of people put orange peel in the garden if a neigh-boors cat lives by to stop it going to the toilet in their garden. Hope i helped!!!!!!!!!!
it depends. some cats the smell of mint, and others may not be able to stand it. i think most cats go crazy when they smell catnip, but it's best to just find out yourself.
It smells less, but it still smells like urine.
Cats hate the smell of anything close to strong like colone but dogs don't mind the smell of strong stuff
dead cats. - actually I've heard it smells really nice, quite a sweet odour
Largely it is to add their scent to the scent of that spot, to take ownership of a place that smells particularly nice to them.
for 1, they can see you and 2, they can smell you. evry1 smells different
They probably just stepped in something smelly, a litterbox maybe?
If they actually do, or you just feel like saying it, no!
Yes, children's feces often smells as offensive as adult feces.
If you have a cat or cats clean the litter box or boxes very well and if you still smell urine it could be meth.Try isolating the cat or cats and the litter box so you can determine where the smells are coming from. There will b other smells cats don't make such as ether, antifeeze, etc. If you smell other strange smells because meth is a strange smell and it continues for days call the police!
Citrus is an acid. Ever wondered why snorting sherbert gives you a bleeding nose (just on the off chance you ever tried it)? It hurts and irritates, and cats are so much more sensitive in terms of the senses (except for taste, apparently). So they get much more annoyed when they smell it, and hence don't like it at all.
Because cats put their smells in a specific place (bed,couch,etc..).So it's like they own the place,so they just stay there.
Cat treats are specifically designed to be appealing to cats, they have certain smells and pheromones that attract them. However, never eat cat treats, I have tried them, do not... do ... it...
