It Takes Two, a song that starts out (in the play) as Link's solo, but becomes a duet when Tracy joins in.
Edna Turnblad, the mother of Nikki Blonsky,s character.
Yes. In the 2nd and 3rd movie of High School Musical he sings HIMSELF; but the 1st one (HSM) he did not, because his voice was supposed to be "new" to singing, and in the 2nd one he's himself singing with voice training.
Zac didn't write Hairspray...John Waters did. Zac was just cast as Link Larkin in the movie, he had no part in writing it. Actually, John Waters wrote (and directed) the first movie Hairspray. That was adapted for a Broadway play. Then the new movie Hairspray was based on the play. I can't read the small print on the DVD jacket to identify the writers of Hairspray 2007, and I'm too lazy to put it into the player and read the credits.

Well the original Link Larkin was Micheal St. Gerard and that was in 1988. As the show is based on teenagers i would have to say he is round 17/18 years but the recent one with Zach Efron in he would of portrayed Micheal St. Gerard in the film and would be round the same sort of age. I liked both of the films, found them both very same yet very different. I also recommend that people watch the original as well.
