What sort of petrol do Subaru impreza's take?

The Subaru impreza turbo should be run on high octane fuel such as optimax/Super Unleaded with no less than 97RON, Tesco actually have 99RON which is about the best we have in the UK. The Impreza turbo was designed to run on 100RON so as near to 100 the better. Although this fuel is recommended i do know many people who run their Impreza turbos on normal Unleaded and they notice very little difference, However those who have tuned their engines should use high RON Fuel as performance can be dramatically effected on Impreza running 300BHP+. If it is a non-turbo Impreza you should just use normal unleaded, Although you may notice a slight difference in performance using High RON fuel.
