Yes. Bearded dragons will hiss, open their mouth, puff up their 'beard', and may lunge. This means "stay back, I'm scared of you, and I will bite to defend myself!"
If your bearded dragon is making hissing sounds with its mouth closed and appears calm, take it to a veterinarian immediately--audible breathing in reptiles is indicative of a respiratory infection, which can be fatal.
Bearded dragons have no vocal cords, so the only sound possible is hissing, which mine has done several times!
They can only hiss if they are threatened.
no they mave babys thoue
The only sound a Bearded dragon can make is a hissing sound because they have no vocal chords
There is no such species as a 'bearded water dragon'. There is a Bearded Dragon, and a Water Dragon - but they are two completely different species - neither of which makes any sound (apart from an occasional 'hiss' when annoyed).
What a ridiculous question ! Why on EARTH would you want to MAKE your Bearded dragon sick !
a bearded dragon is a very good but very expensive one of the only ways to make a dragon hate you is not to take good care of him
