the police `impala i have is a 2001 it has a dimmer which turns out all lights for survielance. undercarriage is covered `by `a 1/4 inch thick sheet of aluminum for curbs `and rocks.the headlights have a black background for survielance and all windows are `tinted dark.the air conditioner is oversize and the motor seems to have extra stabilization bars.thats about all i noticed. the motor is a 3.8 ltr v6

If you have a POLICE PACKAGE Impala ...some time the cut the wire who activate the horn ..they send it to there police equipment , because they can shif the steering "horn" ...if they press a button on ther computer it gonna be the police siren goes on when the press horn. and inverse, the switch it to use the regular horn...that's coulb be a possibylity IF IT IS NOT A POLICE PACKAGE some time the horn goes bad because of water going in the horn in the front
