You will need a special tool to compress the rear brake piston, other than that, regular tools that any car handyman has.
if you have never DONT do it yourself let a prof mech do it and yes you need special tools
On the Bravada as with any vehicle the brakes can be replaced with standard tools with few exceptions. When you purchase your new brake parts the guy at the counter will know if you need any special tools and most parts houses will loan or rent you the special tool you need.
Can someone help me with the same promble.. how do you change the front brake pads and what tools do you need to do the job
It requires a socket that basically has a large Alan wrench tip on it.
Should be "peel off" rotors if not you will need a spanner socket only
haha you dont know and no you dont mate
It does not have brake shoes, it has brake pads. And, yes you will need a special caliber compression tool. You can borrow this tool at almost any auto parts store that sells pads. Just ask.
You will need special brake caliper tool such as a C-clamp to push back the piston on the caliper of a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer.
You need special "keys" to get them out. Take it to a dealer and they will probably use there tools to take it out for free.
The tools you would need to replace front brake pads are, a wrenche (size varies depending on vehicle type), a clamp tool, and brake pads.
