Should be "peel off" rotors if not you will need a spanner socket only
On the Bravada as with any vehicle the brakes can be replaced with standard tools with few exceptions. When you purchase your new brake parts the guy at the counter will know if you need any special tools and most parts houses will loan or rent you the special tool you need.
Replacing front wheel bearings on a front-wheel drive vehicle requires a good knowledge of vehicle service. Normally, you do not need special tools, but there is a special procedure for removing and re-torquing an axle spindle nut. Never reuse a spindle nut!!!! The bearing will be a unitized one-piece bearing, and the brake rotor is not part of the bearing. It can be removed after removing the brake caliper.
Sadly the replacement of front rotors on 95-99 accents require special tools anly availble at a service shop. Rotor replacement requires removal of the hubs and they are press fitted. Some shops have equipment to resurface the rotors while still installed on the vehicle if the rotors are not damaged.
Yes, no special tools needed. A brake shoe spring retractor tool will make it easier.
You will need a special tool to compress the rear brake piston, other than that, regular tools that any car handyman has.
Not an easy task, will take possible assistance from trunk monkey and at least one oposable thumb To remove the brake rotor on the front of an ifs Toyota you must remove the entire hub assembly. this involves a very clean environment (wheel bearings), a nice selection of punches (for the infamous wedge washer), torque wrench, among other common tools. When replacing the brake rotor i suggest: changing brake pads, changing wheel bearings, brake fluid flush, checking and possible replacement of half-shafts with torn boots,
Yes, you can do it at home. Take the two bolts out of the brake caliper that hold the pads on, and once they are out, the rotor should slide off.
09581-11000 to compress the piston
you need the tools to change the disc brake padsand one additional wrench or socket. remove the wheel remove the brake caliper (thing that pushes the brake pads together against the rotor ) 2 bolts remove the brake pads remove the 2 bolts holding the brake caliper carrier from the end of the axle. these will be very tight and hard to turn rotor can now slide off this is very easy
