There are many capitals in the United States that were named after famous people. Raleigh, North Carolina was named for Sir Walter Raleigh. Montgomery, Alabama was named for Richard Montgomery. Frankfort, Kentucky was named for Stephen Frank. Annapolis, Maryland was named after Princess Anne of Denmark and Norway. St. Paul, Minnesota was named for the Apostle Paul.
Good United States geography books will list the state capitals. An excellent source for this information is Rand McNally's road atlas. It will show the capital of a state and also where it is located.
If you go to Wikipedia and type "List of heads of state", you'll find a list of current heads of state (and heads of government, when they are not the same person). I'll leave it to you to check which of these qualify as "presidents".
