Do ABC liquor stores sell champagne?Yes. However it probably depends of the specific store and the demand in the area. Many states call their state liquor stores "ABC stores" including the state I am currently visiting (Alabama). I believe this is also the case in North Carolina and Virginia. The ABC stores here do carry champagne. However some of the private liquor stores do not, this is especially true in more rural areas. However, if you are referring to the ABC convenience store chain located in Hawaii than I have no idea.

there is no exact answer but from all my research i would have to say that in New Zealand there are about 509 liquor stores. Remember this is not an exact number of liquor stores.
Probably the 'convenience' factor. A local liquor store is easier to get to than an out-of-town supermarket. Additionally, local stores have higher overheads and running costs than supermarkets - meaning they have to charge higher prices to cover their expenses.
