There are a lot of cross-community events and integrated schools, which see the children from both sides of the community coming together to learn. The politicians are sitting down to discussions together. There have been ceasefires of all paramilitary organisations, most notably the Irish Republican Army (IRA) and Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF). Things won't be normal for a while yet, as the ceasefires have been unofficially broken in some situations, but things are a lot better.
