the answer above is absolutely ridiculous and racist. you should be ashamed that you could be so shallow minded as to write something like this.

A solution for this would be involving the UN having direct military involvement or assisting the countries surrounding to put down the issues in Darfur.

Before you try to be coy and send stupid remarks such as this on the internet aquire the intelligence to type something worth reading because this is a crisis. It's not funny to rip on people because they live in a poverty driven country. They can't choose who their parents are, where their born, and what surrounds them. Grow up and be mature because this is an actual serious issue surrounding the world today and although you don't care, other people do.

Very little is being done since the United Nations is unwilling to take action. It is possible that Russian and Chinese economic interests are getting in the way of decision making.
