mose has cartilage ( ;ike we have in ears ) to give it shape. it has openings in inner wall folds called chonci, for secretions from cavities in bones - known as sinuses. floor of nose has mucous membrane like elesewhere and that has bone beneath which forms palate in mouth. there is a small opening on either side in side nose that is known as Eustatian tube. this tube helps equalising pressure within middle ear to protect ear drum from damage. of course there are several secreting glands to keep inside of nose wet and there are nasal hairs to filter foreigh bodies entering nasal cavity.l
