The default format style that Excel assigns to all cells in a workbook is the General format. This format displays numbers as they are entered and adjusts automatically based on the content of the cell.

There is no currency style button. You can navigate to the format currency style option like this:Ribbon = HOME | Item = Format | Menu = Format Cells | Tab = Number | Category = Currency
Go into Format Cells and go to Border and you can pick up the style of the border, including double lines.

The comma style will format numbers with two decimal places and insert commas as thousand separators. So if you had a number like 3455679 in a cell and formatted it as comma style, it would come up as:3,455,679.00
The default format that Excel applies is normal text (no bold, etc.) with no color in the background of the cell. Numerals are formatted as Integers and justified right. Letters and special characters are formatted as text and justified left.

Percent style or percent formatting changes the number show to a percentage style. It is one of the number formats available in Excel. Any number you type in will be taken as its percentage format, with the % sign being put in automatically.
