If it is the new body style 1999 truck, you will need a 15 and an 18 socket. Slide the seat all the way forward to remove the back bolts, slide the seat all the way back to remove the front bolts , unplug the seat belt sensor and lift the seat out.

How do you replace cylinder head how to remove cylinder head from 95 Pontiac 3.1 liter?

well first you have to remove the intake, i am not too familiar with this engine, if it is a dual overhead cam engine, you will have to remove the timing chain, or belt. then you should be able to remove the valve cover, then the cylinder head bolts, and then it should pop right off, oh yeah, drain the coolant first thing, if it is a in block style cam, you will have to remove the push rods( take off valve cover, loosen rocker arms, remove push rods) then you can remove the head bolts, and then the cylinder head. If you are not an experienced mechanic, i would have the local shop do it. it requires a lot of tools, and to get it done properly, a lot know how.

What size spark plug socket do you need for a Suzuki gsx750f?

How do i change my transmission on my 92' spirit?

Changing a transmission is a fairly difficult job but really its not that bad, you can basically take one out with next to no tools... First break the axle nut, lift vehicle and remove both C/V Joints Then remove starter drain trans pan remove dust shield remove 4 torque converter bolts then remove the like 5-6(cant remember how many) bell housing bolts and that's it you will find that the majority of the tools needed is basically a 18mm socket... but it doesnt hurt to have a 18mm wrench as well... ive tooken transmissions out and all i used was a breaker bar and 18mm socket because my ratchet broke... and i don't have a transmission jack... so i used 2 twist style jacks and a peice of plywood... so its not hard, just takes time

How do you remove housing to change rear turn signal?

You don't say which model you own. It depends on the body style. For station wagons (for instance) - raise the tailgate and remove the two exposed screws that hold the lens housing to the sheet metal - remove the lens housing and remove the bulb socket from the housing - replace the bulb - then reinstall. Other models and body styles will have different methods.

What tool is needed to remove the oil drain plug on a 1988 Pontiac fiero?

If it is a cartridge style filter the socket size is 22MM. Remove the plate style cover a feww turns until all the oil is drained, you will then be able to remove the cover the rest of the way and see the bottom of the cartridge. in the bottom of the center of the cartridge there is a tab sticking down, grab with a pair of pliers, twist and pull down and be prepared to be cover with splashed oil as the cartridge comes out.

How do you change the fuel filter on a 1994 Ford Aspire?

It is located on the driver side of the engine compartment, positioned vertical. It will have 2 small hoses connected to it.Highly recommend to disconnect the battery so no potential fire will happen.Loosen the retaining bolts and remove the cylinder shaped fuel filter.Replace upper and lower hoses to the filter. I would recommend removing the upper first, then the lower.Tighten bolts to secure clamp style bracket.Reconnect the battery.Start the car, let it idle a minute or two to get the fuel flowing again.

What size socket for oil plug for a 2004 dodge durnago?

1/2" socket. You will need an extender and a breakerbar or a really long socket and a pneumatic wrench to get it off. Put it on back by hand. Also, the capacity is 6 qts with filter. You'll need a little wrench style (the one that looks like a metric socket) filter wrench. I couldn't get my strap-style one to work because of lack of space.

How do install a starter on a 1990 Oldsmobile 88?

Disconnect - battery terminal Lift and safely secure vehicle Remove wiring from starter and solenoid Remove mounting bolts Drop starter If your 1990 is anything like the 1991, which I own, it's not all that hard just tricky, on mine it was located in front of engine and is very accessible but have to work around a long metal frame piece that makes it tricky. Once you remove the small bolts on housing cover, I used two types of socket sets, one standard and one pivot style head for next to oil pan to get up there in the tight quarter's. Hope this helps a bit and watch out for your knuckles if you need to break bolt free, I got crunched when I hit the frame, lol.
